Union Pacific City of Denver from and earlier edition of “Colorado” booklet

My guess is that this edition of the booklet came out post-war. But the train pictured, including the dining car and lounge interiors, are the original 1936 equipment, although diner and lounge were remodeled in the early forties.

Louisville and Nashville Humming Bird menu

With my Aunt Lacy I rode the Humming Bird from New Orleans to Cincinnati in 1967. She said it did everything but hum, a commentary on the roadbed. I had the hot baked beans for lunch.
